MIND OF CHRIST MINISTRIES is a christian based nonprofit organization with a special focus on saving orphaned/needy kids and you women's at risk in Uganda, East Africa.
With many challenges growing in the country which faces young kids who are homeless and those who grows in such extreme poverty which is murdering thousands day by day, we are extending a hand of help to 100 kids now who have no where to go and the gap for our involvement is still big.
According to our experience arming a child with education and Christ ordained training is enough for these kids to fight hunger, disease and ignolence in our society and to prepare them for a better future.
Apart from education the level of protection to the growing number of girls is very low you find that are forced to marry on a very early stage from 10 years of age and those are still strong on their rights some time give up because of the situation they live in, no food, clothes and other life necessities plus family setting raise up which a lot of the missed due to the death of their parents and they begin to run their own live at a very early stage.
Goal
Our goal is to see every suffering kid get enough food, education and introduce him or her to Christ.
Vision
Raising up a generation who will be entrusted with the next generation.
Objectives:
-Establishing an environment for physical, emotional and spiritual maturity of the growing number of children, with this a permanet school and a home for kids is needed to ensure the implementation of this objective.
- Helping poor families to help those under their roof through small business training and a start up for them.
- Working hand in hand with spiritual groups like churches to train and advise this growing generation to continue to live a Christ life as they grow.
- Sensitizing different communities on arising issues of healthy, food production and available opportunities to build their capacity in a changing world.
